Things we like about New Zealand
Today was the Davidsons Mains Gala. It is the first time for years we have not been there and the first time since 2001 that a Pollock boy will not win the medal for the youngest finisher in the mini-marathon. (they were starting to get a bit old anyway!). We have been missing the long summer evenings and there are some frustrations with the World Cup being on in the middle of the night.
Here are a few things we really like about New Zealand.
In no particular order!
Prizes if you can correctly identify which family member selected which item.
Tree Ferns.
Hokey Pokey Ice Cream.
The wood burner in our lounge.
Manuka Honey.
Te Papa.
Playing 2 Square in the playground.
Cross-country running.
Self-Saucing Chocolate Pudding.
The ever changing view of Wellington Harbour.
Scorching Bay.
We have a lot to be thankful for. We are especially thankful for friends old and new who remember us in prayer and support us practically.

Is Manuka Honey the Maori name for Marcus Honeysett?
Well they are both sweet, have health bringing properties and are loved by Don Carson
