In at the Deep End

We have been bad bloggers. Apologies for the lack of updates during the holidays. Quite a lot has been going on. Having endured the wettest winter since records began, the windiest spring since records began and the coldest start to summer since.. you guessed it... records began, we have been finally getting some sunshine.

Term has started again, a couple of weeks ago for the boys and just this week in the Universities.

We will try to do some catch up blogs so you can see what we have been up to over the last couple of months.

Having coped with a few unforeseen circumstances including my Grannie dying and my computer being broken, normal service is resumed.

These are two boys sitting on a pier. They have what I believe is called kinetic energy.

The picture at the top shows what happens when that energy is released.

And Mr Ross thought I wasn't listening in 1st Year Physics.

I'm not sure you were listening to Mr Ross....

Did anyone else notice why?

Ok it's a fair cop - I wasn't listening to Mr Ross. But to be fair no one else was much either and he was a friendly chap who didn't seem to mind.
Do they have potential energy on the dock and kinetic when they are moving? Hey what do I know I am an Arts graduate.

Yes, potential (ie stored waiting to be released)when sitting, kinetic when moving :-)
